Playing... with Karen


In going back through the blogs, I tried the face transformer Karen mentioned. I wanted the manga one.... but it was pretty scarey! So, I settled on Botticelli.

End of May, Beginning of June

I enjoy the beginning of each session, a time when students are energetic and engaged. It permeates the group. One thing I'm learning in open entry, self paced classes is the importance of the start. I taught my first OE/SP class this spring. This summer, I added a streamed video with some questions to follow. I'm hoping that encouraging them with a short, relatively easy item or two will entice them to move forward with confidence. Then, when it picks up and becomes more challenging, they will build on their past successes. That's the theory, anyway...
